Explodemon! Brings Mega(ton) Man Platforming To PSN, WiiWare, PC

By Dr. Evelyn Reed | October 20, 2025 | 7 min read

Curve Studios Explodemon! sure looks a hell of riches888pg a lot like Mega Man—but with a gameplay twist. The 2.5D action platformer stars a robotic hero with a knack for blowing himself up. Intentionally.

Curve’s SNES-era throwback title, coming to PlayStation Network, WiiWare and PCs, uses an interesting mechanic—lots of explosions—to fight enemies, reach new areas and interact with the world. The official description says it blends traditional action platforming with the “refined contemporary gameplay of Halo and jinda44 Half-Life 2,” something we’re still a little confused about.

While Xbox Live Arcade isn’t listed as a platform, site Gamerbytes believes that Curve may be working on such a e19 release. Until that’s confirmed, enjoy this sharp-looking trailer.

Some games take a while to load on mobile, but once they start, the gameplay is smooth and exciting. I hope future updates improve mobile performance, but I still enjoy playing several hours a day.

I enjoy the daily missions and rewards system. It gives me extra motivation to play regularly and allows me to earn more coins and bonus items, which enhances the overall gaming experience.

Some games are a bit laggy on my phone at times, but the variety of games and the smooth desktop experience make up for it. Overall, the website offers a great gaming experience for both casual and serious players.
