The book does a lovely job of making up new records to fit specific situations, so the Arnolds were a perfect fit. Hopefully their inclusion won’t spark some sort of feud with a rival Pokémon-playing family. My own clan is only four strong, and two of them are more prone to chewing on Pokémon than playing with them, so I’d say the Arnolds have a few years to shore up their defenses. 
Then we’re coming for them.
